Saskatchewan Athletics is deeply saddened to share the news that Don Fitzsimmons has passed away. In his retirement years, Don dedicated much of his time to coaching with the Excel Athletika track and field club in Regina.
We would like to extend our sincere condolences to Don’s friends, family, and the Regina track and field community.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Turvey Center, 100 Armour Road, Regina, SK, on Sunday, January 25, 2026, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, and will be livestreamed for those who cannot attend.
