2023 Sport Medicine and Science Speaker Series
Saskatchewan Athletics is hosting a Sport Medicine and Science Speaker Series consisting of different online sessions. The sessions will cover many different topics such as mental performance, sports nutrition, strength and conditioning, RED-S, and female health.
All sessions will be held online via Zoom. Separate registration is required for each session. Sessions are intended to be for Saskatchewan Athletics members only (coaches, athletes and their parents/guardians).
Coaches will be credited with 1 Professional Development point for each session they attend. This is a great way for coaches to maintain their certification.
If you have any questions about the speaker series please contact Jamie Epp (hpcoach@saskathletics.ca).
Fundamentals of Athletics – E-Learning Modules
These FREE modules were created to help beginner coaches improve their coaching skills, as well as their knowledge of the rules and safety of track events. In the Safety section coaches will explore important safety considerations when coaching athletics. In the Rules section coaches will test their understanding of the rules. In the Technical sections coaches will apply their knowledge to different coaching scenarios. Each course is worth 1 PD point.
